2022 Salvatore’s Reserve Malbec

A rare varietal for Ontario, this Malbec is grown with care from a local grower down the road with only one row planted. The grapes went through a gentle maceration of 7 days before being pressed and racked into a first-use 500L french oak foudre where it aged for 24 months. Only 50 cases produced!
Riverview’s premium Malbec vintage displays intense flavours of blueberries and mocha. The wine finishes with a soft spice making it a great pairing for prime rib.
